It has been one year

This day, I have feared

Because, today is the Day

My Dear Grandpa went away

 

I have been anticipating this moment

Not knowing exactly How I would feel

And now that it is here

The pain in my heart is Strong and Real.

 

So many memories

Come flooding to mind

Of How you were so strong

And Yet, So Kind

 

You loved us all

with all of your heart

And your love is still with me

even though we are apart

 

Although today is sad

And filled with memory and grief

Knowing you are with The Lord

Has given me much relief.

 

So Grandpa, Please Ask Jesus

To comfort us today and keep us strong

and to remind us, we will see you again

and praise Our Father together in Dance and Song.

 

-Lord,

Bless my Family Today. Please comfort them and give  them a peace of  mind knowing our Beloved Grandpa is with you. Lord, Put your loving hands over each member of my family today and always and fill their minds with wonderful memories of Grandpa that will make them smile!!. In Jesus Name, Amen.
