Father when I come to you to lay my burdens down

I know I can talk to you and you wont make a frown

You are the almighty but I have to say

you wont look at me and tell me to go away

You're kind and gentle and you listen to what I have to say

not like humans who think I'm not ok

You tell us not to  judge but its the first thing

on our lips

We tare at each other we don't miss a rip

We never think we are guilty we would never take

the blame

But if we would take a look at our hearts

we would be put to shame

Its been a long long while since I heard a brother

or sister with kind words to speak

I am guilty of the same we wont turn the other cheek

Maybe if we think by putting others down

God wont see our sin and he wont make a frown

But sorry to say God see's everything, he knows when

we sin by the ugly words we speak

When will we be kind and lift our brother up

When will we be God like and drink from his cup

So when I come to you Lord to lay my burdens down

I know you'll still love me and you wont make

a frown

Galatians 6-2,3

Bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
